InYSIA (INDONESIA YOUNG SCIENTIS AND INVENTORS AWARD)

Indonesia Young Scientists and Inventors Award (InYSIA) is a competition dedicated to promoting innovation and scientific research among young researchers. It was created to provide a forum where young scientists can present their inventions and innovative ideas. InYSIA aims to foster a spirit of exploration and scientific discovery among students. The competition encourages participants to engage in meaningful research, develop solutions to real-world problems, and collaborate with peers from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds in the world. By providing a platform for young minds to share their work, InYSIA seeks to inspire the next generation of scientists and inventors to contribute to scientific and technological progress in the world.

OBJECTIVE

  1. Enhancing the knowledge, understanding, and culture of research and invention among youth.
  2. Increasing youth interest and participation in the fields of research and innovation.
  3. Fostering critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly, which are essential for youth in international research and innovation forums.
  4. Producing young inventors and high-quality discoveries that can contribute to the advancement of science and the betterment of human life.

TARGET

  1. The growth of a research spirit, creativity, and the ability to innovate within a society based on science and technology.
  2. The enhancement of creativity in teaching and learning activities toward a more engaging and effective system of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.
  3. The broadening of horizons and the increased involvement of young people in mastering and utilizing science and technology at the national, regional, and international levels.

CRITERIA

  • Inventions may take the form of products, software, hardware, and others, except for sculptures, photography, paintings, calligraphy, or other forms of pure art.
  • Participants are not allowed to use materials that may endanger the surrounding environment, are explosive, corrosive, or contain toxic substances.
